In the early 2000’s, we further utilized our apparel design expertise by fulfilling design-build contracts for other clothing labels. This expansion opened the door for us to begin creating strategic branded apparel programs to outfit the employees of other companies, beginning with the Chick-fil-A TeamStyle program in 2004. Alongside these programs, we have continued our lifestyle apparel roots with our classic American menswear label, OOBE BRAND.
- OOBE HEALTH begins producing masks in response to COVID-19.
- HydroChill performance fabric is introduced.
- OOBE becomes 40% employee-owned.
From Tom and Mike’s days at Clemson University, to the humble beginning of the company at Hollow Oak Lane just off of U.S. 123 in Easley, to our current offices in the middle of Greenville’s thriving downtown, the Greenville area is deeply woven into the history of OOBE. For an apparel company like OOBE, there is perhaps no home more fitting than Greenville, a city once known as the “Textile Capital of the World.” With such a rich history and an extraordinarily bright future, OOBE is proud to call Greenville home.
As with any company, we’re only as good as our people. That’s why we take such care to employ the best and the brightest, invest in them, and create a culture within our company that truly reflects our values.
