OOBE has taken the following additional measures to ensure we are protecting our family and our customers:
On March 18th, we made the decision to close our office location in Greenville, SC to all outside visitors and have our staff begin working remotely from home. The office will remain closed at least through the end of the month.
On March 19th, we had the office sanitized utilizing a local company called bioPURE as a precautionary measure for our staff.
On March 20th, bioPURE treated the OOBE BMW Company Store in Greer for the safety of our staff and future visitors.
On March 20th, bioPURE also treated our warehouse at Anchor Global Fulfillment which includes our product inventory and shipping supplies.
Beginning on March 23rd, all employees at AGF will be screened for fevers before being permitted to enter the premises.
We continue to receive, process, and ship orders but with a heightened sense of maintaining distances between employees. We pray that you and your family are handling these challenging times well.
Sincerely,
Jeff Taylor

Happy St. Patrick’s Day...
Like you all, we are working diligently to find balance amidst this chaos authored by COVID-19 – especially after the manic Monday yesterday brought us. “Balance” is a word we usually are inspired to pursue, but these past few days and weeks seem to put a different twist on both the definition and our ability to obtain it. Our local church leadership this past weekend challenged our congregation (one that did not congregate physically) to find a personal and healthy middle ground between arrogance and anxiety… arrogance driven by an excess of skepticism and self-reliance, while anxiety fueled by debilitating fear and panic. The challenge comes in that neither of these situationally opposing characteristics embodies what we want to be known for in this life. We want to be known for a sound and stable faith that is lived out and powered by sacrificial love. A faith hallmarked by its ability to withstand circumstantial stressors such as this invisible enemy we know as the Coronavirus.
Our purpose statement at OOBE is to Love and Serve people with our time, talent, and resources so God may be celebrated through the faithful stewardship in all our relationships.
This statement is both lofty and granular at the same time. It isn’t bound by selling apparel, nor is it limited to profit as a measure of success. It is a moving guide that takes into account current situations and real people. We are closely monitoring what is being told to us by experts and letting that form what we deem best for the folks in our sphere of influence – internally and externally. Currently, we remain “open for business”, but with great caution and daily adjustments. We are working hard to meet our commitments to customers while making sure we don’t jeopardize the well-being of our team members in the process. We are working from home and working from the office…trying to be wise no matter where and how we are functioning. We are grateful for everyone in the OOBE family: vendor partners, home office folks, those working and shopping our retail expressions, program partners, and our fulfillment facility staff. All are being considered in our discussions and logistical decision making. We appreciate your gracious understanding and we covet your prayers. We truly believe that we will survive this together, and as a result, God will have created new strengths in us.
Please know that the health and well-being of our entire community — including each of you — is at the forefront of our thinking. We also want to share some steps we’ve taken to help keep our customers and employees safe and healthy.
Like many others, our teams are closely following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and local and national health organizations. We continue to process the most current information and have taken the following actions to date:
We are recommending all employees take precautionary health measures, including frequent hand washing, social distancing, and staying home when sick. We have limited the number of intra-company meetings and have postponed any non-essential visitors for all our corporate locations.
We are increasing the frequency of regularly scheduled cleanings and all sanitation efforts within our offices and fulfillment center, especially in high traffic areas.
We have discouraged business activity that involves the gathering of 10+ people and will discontinue even smaller group interaction at the instruction of our government officials — or if we believe it to be in the physical best interest of our team members prior to any official recommendations or mandates.
We will work quickly to resume the highest level of service to our business partners when we determine it safe for all involved and pledge to communicate accurately and frequently with updates on our intent.
Thank you for your continued faithful relationship of working with us. In these uncertain times, one thing that will remain unwavering in our commitment to helping each other strive for health and safety.
Sincerely,
Mike Pereyo & Tom Merritt
